Worried that it will get too warm or cold during FlexHours events? Our adjustments are based on your thermostat’s schedule, so your home should never be more than a few degrees away from your normal temperatures. However, if you want to make certain that your home will not rise above a certain temperature, you can program a max temperature on your thermostat.
Google Nest:
To set minimum and maximum temperatures on your Nest thermostat, you must lock your schedule. This allows you (and EnergyFlex) to make adjustments only within a certain range. When you lock your thermostat, you will create a 4-digit pin, which can be used to unlock it and make adjustments outside of the locked range.
Step-by-step instructions on how to lock and unlock your thermostat.
