How long do FlexHours events last?

FlexHours events typically last up to 4 hours. 

If you are enrolled with a smart thermostat, EnergyFlex may cool your home before the FlexHours event begins in order to make sure that you stay at a comfortable temperature. 

After the FlexHours event ends, your thermostat schedule will go back to normal, and we will not make any further adjustments until the next FlexHours event.

If you are enrolled in EnergyFlex without a smart device, you can participate in the FlexHours event by actively reducing your energy usage for the duration of the event.
